The Promised Land

Hey don't worry anyone... I am still alive. I made it safe and sound from my 23 hour bus ride. Well here I am... In Arica the promised land of our mission. I have loved my 1st week here. My ward is fantastic, actually for the 1st time I had a meeting with the leadership before Church. (that's a big deal here in Chile hehe)  I am lucky to say that my companion is an even bigger stud than I am.jk Elder Lastarria from Buenos Aires, Argentina... He is a little tiny guy but he has such a strong testimony. He believes that his girlfriend will wait for him only if he works his butt of during his mission... lets just says so far he has been working pretty hard because she  is still awaiting. I'm not going to lie, I am exhausted from the non stop work and we have done this week. This little kid is giving me a run for my money and I love it!

We had the chance to go paint balling for pday today... HOLY SHNIKIES that was soo much fun. As you can imagine we don't get many adrenaline rushes as missionaries (only spiritual ones) so today I just ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. I haven't had that much fun In a really long time. I just ran around rushing everyone... some of the Latins had never done it before so they about pooped their pants when they saw some huge gringo running at them with a gun screaming at the top of his lungs. I did quite a bit of damage... but I sure got some in return. bad. it was awesome.

Well we have got to go... we have an appointment with a married couple of police officers... Who does that sound like?? hehe wish us luck. I love you guys, even thought you are wayyy far away.. I still haven't forgotten about you.
